Steven (2013-2024)
This was the dog that changed everything for me - the first dog I loved, and the first dog I lost. Steven showed me the beauty of Tahoe, showed me that life with a dog was better than without, and it was on walks with him that I fell in love with my boyfriend. This company is dedicated to our Steven.

Sam was unexpected - I saw a picture of him on the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe socials (I'm a volunteer there), and he looked like Steven, so I decided to go walk him. He looked up at me with those yellow eyes and I knew I had to bring him home. Now he's a perfectly trained Tahoe Dog - jumps off the dock at Chambers, then falls asleep in the sun while I catch up with friends on the pier.

Riley
Riley (aka Pretzel, her original name from Reno Res-que) is the dog who chose us after our Steven passed away. She follows over 25 foster dogs who were not quite the right fit for our family, but we took a chance on Riley, and she is a Tahoe natural. Though we've only had her a couple months, she is already an off-leash hiker, expert paddle-boarder, and chill beach companion.
