In honor of Steven:

Steven wasn't just a dog. He was the origin story.

A black-and-white Border Collie, Steven was the first dog who made our Founder understand what it really means to have a canine best friend. With him, the relationship to dogs shifted — from casual appreciation to something deeper. A real bond. A lifestyle. A calling.

He's the reason Tahoe Dog Co. exists. Not as a business concept, but as something felt. Steven showed that dogs aren't just pets — they're companions, characters, and the center of a whole way of life.

Customers may first meet Dottie, Otto, Sydney, Lily, or the Resident Tahoe Dogs Sampson and Riley. But every one of those dogs exists in this world because of Steven. He's the quiet throughline — the soul of the brand, and the dog who started it all.
